MAAPR, The Mid-Atlantic Airsoft Players Registry, started off as an email list of 36 airsoft players in the Maryland area for the purpose of organizing monthly games. This list has grown in the past 3 years to more than 1400 players in 14 states and 5 countries. MAAPR has also successfully hosted 8 large-scale Operations drawing between 150 - 275 players every game, and has the privilege of boasting the best Sponsor-provided raffles on the East Coast.

A lot has been going on in the world of airsoft in the past few weeks. For a long time Tokyo Marui has been the only company to produce a reliable, competition ready, P90; however, all that is about to change. Classic Army has decided to jump head first into that market with there brand new P90 Sportline, featuring the integrated red dot and TR model P90's. TURDUCKEN CITY -- The sounds of gunpowder have returned again this evening to Turducken City, although in quite a new and different way. This time it is the fireworks of celebration, instead of the bombs and bullets of foreign armies. The war weary citizens of this metropolis have much to celebrate. War has left their city and their country, finally, after so much hardship and sadness. Today, victorious NATO forces are conducting aid missions to civilians, instead of conducting search and destroy missions against Russian, and Sheik's Fist troops. Joint Task Force HAMMER, under command of General Herroberst, has succeeded in restoring order and hope to this once hopeless city.
General Oberst Ollie, Commander of the Russian Motor Brigade "Grizzly", in the spirit of international cooperation, has ordered his troops to pull back to the Russian border. They currently are combing the countryside in search of the source of the strife in Pottslovania, two shadowy figures known only as "the Mayor" and "the Arms Dealer". It was learned from intelligence gleaned during the interrogation of the leader of the Sheik's Fist, Sheik Rattlen Roll, that the Mayor and the Arms Dealer were solely responsible for orchestrating the violence in this poor country. At this time, the location of the criminals remains unknown.
Although not victorious in battle, the courage and valor of the Russian Army has been an example of soldierly conduct to all of the nations of the world. General Ollie succeeded in ridding Turducken City of it's ever present drug trade, with the arrest of a Jamaican national, Bob Sarley, who at this moment is awaiting trial in Moscow for a number of offenses.

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION IN POTTSLOVANIA - 21 July 2013
The stock value of The Acme Company tripled in value yesterday when spokesmen for their UAV Recon Division held a press conference and released samples of their Sky Spy photos of armed force activities in and near Pottslovania.
Demonstrating their resolution capabilities, Company spokesmen provided multiple photographs, reproduced here, to promote the value of UAV technology on the modern battlefield. Company spokesmen stated that UAV sales to many nations were on the rise, but were especially strong with an unnamed arms dealer reported to be acting on behalf of both Russian and NATO forces currently in the Pottslovanian region.
When questioned about the UAV reliability, Company spokesmen denied reports that the new Sky Spy UAV model has technical problems related to its propulsion systems, and added that "the UAVs are 100% reliable, otherwise Russia and NATO would not be buying them".
An additional question raised a possible link in UAV sales to the recent intensification of saber rattling by both NATO and Russian commands. Spokesmen for the Company responded that UAVs don't kill people. UAVs only provide information for effective command which actually saves lives. Company spokesmen also added that UAV intelligence is as necessary as on-field communications and satellite communications links. They closed with a statement that Acme satellite comms systems sales were also increasing rapidly, which may have been due to a high level of interest shown by the Mayor of Turducken City.

| Pottslovania Faces Continued Battle |

After Pottslovania endured its fifth Storm of the Century in the past two years, signs of the recent battle between NATO alliance forces and the Russian occupation forces have been all but removed from the landscape. This does not mean that all is quiet.
Russian occupation forces continue to establish stronger base camps throughout the Pottslovanian region. Famed Turducken City, the historic and cultural heart of the area, is living under a peace induced by constant armed patrols by Russian forces. NATO's Joint Task Force Hammer, camped near the Romanian border, is solidifying relations with nearby countries who have been hard hit by the dual effects of weather and continued economic decline.
In a major step up from their typical wanton destruction, the Sheik's Fist is suspected of being responsible for nearly simultaneous attacks on both Russian and NATO force headquarters.
In an unusual coincidence, General Rockwell of NATO's JTF Hammer was present at the Koka Kola plant, and General Absolut of the Russian Armed Forces was present at Vodka Factory Number 7 during the respective attacks. It has been confirmed that both Generals were severely wounded and transported for medical treatment to an undisclosed tropical island by the Swiss Navy. There are unconfirmed reports that both Generals are currently in a poker battle to establish right of revenge on the Sheik's Fist.
Meanwhile, there are reports of new leadership at each force's camp.
Unmanned aerial drones have sighted a Russian General, identified under the nickname of "Oberst Ollie", at the center of Russian Force command in Pottslovania. In an apparent play on names, NATO has announced that a General code named "Herr Oberst" will assume command of JTF Hammer, and has promised imminent action to restore freedom to Pottslovania.

NATO's Joint Task Force Hammer, together with Romanian forces, is entering the Pottslovania region to repulse the recent incursion by Russian forces.
FTW News has obtained a partial copy of an announcement by the Socialist Republic of Dundalk announcing that Dundalk has joined the conflict by providing aid and free passage to the Russian forces invading Pottslovania. General Rockwell, commanding JTF Hammer, has provided no statement regading this recent development.

POTTSLOVANIA, May 3 -- Local residents of this former industrial hub of Eastern Europe are now struggling for their lives and control of their homeland. Power outages are now virtually continuous. Fuel shortages and disruptions to the electrical grid have ground industrial production and ordinary living to a virtual standstill. The factories critical to the economic health of this fair nation formerly supported the shipping container manufacturing industry, which made this region world famous and integral to the success of international trade.
This key industrial hub is now silent. The economic collapse has resulted in the total cessation of nearly all legitimate commerce. There is a critical shortage of such human basics as food and potable water. Ordinary citizens spend their days working the black market in a desperate struggle to obtain the bare necessities that are otherwise taken for granted. Their muted discussions center on whether they will merely face riots, or if the future holds full blown war. The situation is extremely dire. A mere spark will almost certainly ignite this regional powder keg.
This reporter had the rare opportunity of briefly interviewing the Commander of the Russian forces which recently arrived in the region. Commander Ivan Absolut, until recently unknown in the international community, shows all signs of being a rising star in the New Russian Armed Forces. He projects the very embodiment of the Russian ideology now being "shared" in this and other surrounding nations: All People, All Actions, For the Motherland.
